David Griffith,

brings over 25 years of cooking and catering experience to this chuck wagon cooking team. He has cooked and catered for corporate company picnics, all types of receptions, family dinner parties, church and event fundraisers, as well as having managed a conference center for a large corporation. Coming from a family of cooks learning early in life, later turning the knowledge gleaned into a successful business complimenting his teaching career.

Raised in Southeast Texas in a farming and ranching environment, close to the Louisiana border, his cooking style has been influenced by a wide variety of local cultures, adding to this unique western experience. David's background brings a blend of down home comfort foods with the logistics and knowledge required for catering large and small groups alike.

Charles Wendt,

is the proud owner of the Rocking W chuck wagon, an original Studebaker wagon he restored and fashioned into an authentic chuck wagon. Having grown up in a ranching family in south central Texas and working in the brush country of south Texas and the desert mountains of far west Texas, he has learned the techniques of ranch style cooking influenced by his German heritage and acquaintance with Vaquero camp cooks.

Using his organization skills honed by several years as a teacher and currently as the owner of a business in Llano, he brings the ability to make things happen and make your chuck wagon dinner/party a success and provide the best of authentic cowboy fare for the large or small catered meal.
